The first Human-IST website was supposed to be only temporary, but the delay in the deployment of a unified system for the University of Fribourg has kept it online almost five years. Created on Drupal with a custom identity-based theme graphical design of the Institute, it allowed me to discover the joys of this CMS (possibility to create entities separated from the presentation via the graphical interface), but also its serious pitfalls (a hacking attempt in 2018 revealed that a Drupal script allowed arbitrary code execution on the server).

The second version of the Human-IST website is based on ModX, the CMS chosen by the University of Fribourg to support all its websites. The above prototypes were eventually altered to prioritize the University's branding over that of the Institute.
